Restraint was released on April 25th on Amazon for the Kindle. The price $2.99 or free for Amazon Prime members. Borrow/Lend is also available. Look in the near future for promotional pricing.
I am super excited, nervous, and thrilled to have my work published. I’m currently writing the continuation and conclusion of the Katya Waters story that began in Restraint.
I would love any feedback from those who have received a copy from me, won a copy, or purchased one. Any feedback, whether Like-Love-Loathe-Indifferent is welcome. Updated Blog tabs
As I wait for Amazon and B&N to publish Restraint I decided the blog needed a new coat of paint. While the main blog has not changed in appearance I have added new tabs.

Restraint Teaser #3- Hunting Katya
Feet slapping the ground, breaking twigs in their path. Breath sawing out, exhale clouding the air across my face as I run- run for my life. Another tree in my path slowing me down as I find a way around it. Four bodies charge me from different sides- herding me, running me to ground as a pack.
I’ve walked this path since I was a child. I know every dip, curve, and incline. Up until just moments ago this was where I went to clear my mind. Now I run for my life hoping my knowledge will pull me through to the other side- safety.
They run in perfect synchronization, breathing in harmony with the next, legs moving with the same gracefulness. If it weren’t me or them I may have found it breathtakingly beautiful.
I speed up on the descent down the ravine. They are trying to pull me off my course. It’s working. I am no longer on the trail. I am beside it going at an angle. The one in charge is maneuvering me to his destination and I am powerless to stop it.
The primal, animal side of my brain already recognizes it’s capture. My body floods with adrenaline. A quaking rocks my entire body slowing my pace. I shiver in the cold even as my body erupts with sweat.
My logical brain will not give up. Never give up. I will fight to my very death. My mind spins escape routes and defense plans as I am led, pushed, and driven by the unit. My only escape is the water. If I can just get to the water I could swim to safety. Like the trail, I know everything about the water as well.
The leader comes into focus just off to my right. I stumble when I see the fierce look on his face, the look of triumph as he gains on his prize. “It won’t be long, boys,” his smug voice sounds like broken glass to my sensitive ears.
He is in easy reach now. I veer to the left, away from his grasp, and miscalculate the trajectory of the other hunters. Arms enclose me from the side. I close my eyes in defeat.
“I’m so sorry,” he whispers against my hair.
Beta Readers Wanted
I am almost finished with my Novella, Restraint. I am looking for people interested in Beta Reading my work. I need readers who will be critical and are apt in spelling and grammar. Basically, I need to find the mistakes that I overlook; which is easy to do when you have to story imprinted in your mind, and your eye grazes over the mistakes.
The reader must be over 18 since this is an erotic novella. Also, it is important that you have read books in this genre or the content my disturb you. This is a Dark Erotica novella- explicit situations and graphic scenes. I am looking for someone who is experienced in this genre- meaning they will understand the psychological aspects of the story as well as requirements within the erotica genre.
I’m don’t want anyone who is just looking for a free read. This will not be a lot of work for the reader; just read the story, and point out any errors that you noticed along the way. I, however, want to have dialogue with the reader. I expect constructive criticism. You don’t have to be mean, just know that my feelings will not be hurt by your suggestions. The criticism is so I can make my story the best that it can be. Sometimes as a writer you become tunnel visioned, you only see the story one way, and need a fresh perspective. Ask questions, such as, “why did the character do that?” Or point out scenes that do not effect the overall storyline. I wish no filler in my work, all scenes must have meaning to the overall premise. I want my characters to be within “character”. I wish for the scenes to flow smoothly. These are the things that I want my Beta Readers to point out for me.
I expect to finish within the next two weeks, then give my Betas two weeks to read over the story before my final edits.
